Ribbon Cutting - Caring Caress Massage & Wellness - Juice Plus+
(Left to Right) Shawndrae Isable - Pemiscot County Special School District, Shonda Shank, Tony Hardaway - Caring Caress Massage & Wellness, Dustin Price - Farmers Insurance / Chamber President, Susan Faulkner - Focus Bank, Keith Davis - Diane Sayre Recreation Center / Chamber Board Member
A ribbon cutting was
held on Saturday, January 25th, at Caring Caress Massage & Wellness in
honor of a new product that is being offered there.
Juice Plus+ is whole
food based nutrition, including juice powder concentrates from 25 different
fruits, vegetables and grains. Everyone wants to eat right and maintain a
healthier lifestyle - whether you're a busy mom hustling to feed on-the-go
children, a business traveler trying to stay fit, or an active boomer keeping
up with grand kids. All of us try to eat better for good health, but a
healthy diet is often a challenge. We simply don't eat enough fruits and
vegetables. And that hurts our health and wellness.
Juice Plus+ helps
bridge the gap between what you should eat and what you do eat every
day. Not a multivitamin, medicine, treatment or cure for any disease,
Juice Plus+ is all-natural and made from quality ingredients carefully
monitored from farm to capsule so you can enjoy improved nutrition and
wellness.
"I've been taking
Juice Plus+ just for a short time but I already notice that I have more energy
and none of that typical afternoon sluggish feeling that I used to have. I am
also anemic but I can see improvements since I've been taking Juice
Plus+." (Susan Faulkner)
"Juice Plus+ has
been beneficial to me in so many ways. I take fewer blood pressure medications,
I sleep better and I have better colon activity. Just to name a few!"
(Tony Hardaway)
Some of you may
remember Dustin Starks, a Caruthersville native who was critically injured
in a fall while away at college in Texas. He is still in therapy in Texas. Here
is what Dustin had to say about taking Juice Plus+:
“I’ve been taking
Juice Plus+ for about two and a half months and the biggest overall
contribution that I can see is it giving me better blood flow and oxygen to the
brain. While I’ve been taking it, I’ve noticed drastic acceleration of my
scores at my neurology clinic, the best being immediate memory. I’ve also
noticed that I don’t fatigue as easy as I did before. Juice Plus+ has even been
increasing in my hair growth. This supplement has increased the speed of my
neural healing because it effectively increases blood flow. Even my
Endocrinologist noticed that my bloodstream seemed healthier. My blood pressure
has returned to a normal limit and I have noticed slight weight loss.”

16th Annual Chili Cook-off
The day started off cold and wet but that didn't stop folks from coming out for some great chili. The sun started to shine shortly after and the smell of onions and meat cooking began to fill the air.

Vendors had their decorations, hand made crafts, jewelry, information baked goods and more on display.

The sound of live jazz music from the steps of the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church was not only neat to hear, but to see as well.

The competition was great this year!
