SMART LUNCH with SEMO/CIE
The Chamber of Commerce will present it's first Smart Lunch, where you can learn something new while you have a delicious lunch and mingle with other members. The speakers will be presenting the resources available through Southeast Missouri University's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The programs they offer include helping businesses grow, business counseling and mentoring, and several entrepreneurship programs. The cost for the buffet lunch is $10.

Free Microsoft Class for Members and Employees
On Tuesday, August 2nd from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at Caruthersville High School, the Chamber of Commerce will host a free class on Microsoft Windows 7 and Office 2010. There is limited seating so you must pre-register by calling the Chamber at 573.333.1222 or by emailing at CaruthersvilleChamber@gmail.com This class is only open to current members of the Chamber and their employees.

Chamber Elects New Board and Officers
The Chamber welcomes newly added board members Tyler Sullivan (Sullivan's Auto & Tire), Tara Gardner ( The Store), Tony Hardaway ( Caring Caress Massage & Wellness), Chris Clark ( Hillin & Clark, PC), Lauren Brands (Hayden's Parmacy), Nick Burch ( Caruthersville Middle School), Lisa Bryant ( Democrat Argus), and Dustin Price ( Farmers Insurance).
New Officers for 2011 are Nick Cartee, President; Melissa McClain, Vice President; Trey Cain, Treasurer; and Bridgett Privett, Secretary. Additional board members include J J Bullington, Kenny Lee, Lee Bethune, and Jasen Laws. Monica Smith is Coordinator and John Ferguson is ex-officio.

Membership Drive Reception February 7th
