Chamber Elects New Board and Officers

The Chamber welcomes newly added board members Tyler Sullivan (Sullivan's Auto & Tire), Tara Gardner ( The Store), Tony Hardaway ( Caring Caress Massage & Wellness), Chris Clark ( Hillin & Clark, PC), Lauren Brands (Hayden's Parmacy), Nick Burch ( Caruthersville Middle School), Lisa Bryant ( Democrat Argus), and Dustin Price ( Farmers Insurance).
New Officers for 2011 are Nick Cartee, President; Melissa McClain, Vice President; Trey Cain, Treasurer; and Bridgett Privett, Secretary. Additional board members include J J Bullington, Kenny Lee, Lee Bethune, and Jasen Laws. Monica Smith is Coordinator and John Ferguson is ex-officio.

Please join us for a reception honoring our board members on Monday, February 7th, 5:30 pm at the First State Bank Community Room. We welcome both our current members to come and renew their dues, and anyone else interested in joining the Chamber. The CHS Football team will be playing in the State Playoffs in Brentwood, Missouri, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Caruthersville is so proud of these gentlemen! A couple of events are planned to help cheer them on and show just how proud we are of them.

Thursday, November 12th, 7:00 p.m. - Bonfire at the Riverfront

Join us for a traditional bonfire in honor of the CHS Football team!

Friday, November 13th, 1:30 p.m. - Tiger Drive Through

Police escort FROM Caruthersville Middle School through downtown TO Caruthersville Elementary School. There they will have a "Tiger Walk". Then a police escort down Truman and out to city limits.
Everyone come out and cheer on the Tigers as they leave for Brentwood! We encourage businesses and residents to display their Red & White on Friday if possible.

The Benefit Fish Fry that was held on Friday, November 6th, was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the food. A special thanks goes out to Lady Luck Casino for providing all of the food and preparing it! And to the Caruthersville Fire Department for use of their facility! Not only that, the Fire Department sat up tables and chairs, helped serve the food and cleaned up after us. We appreciate you guys so much!
